The
Goldeneye Gallery represents the Barrow’s Goldeneye
and other seaduck species that frequent the harbor’s
edge just behind the gallery during our winter months.
Ed is a longtime birdwatcher and has spent countless
hours observing and capturing the often hidden behavioral
patterns and colors of our feathered friends both at
home and while travelling.
Landscapes and seascapes are the main body of Ed’s
work. Dramatic lighting, instinctive composition, and
the decisive moment define his style. Maine and this
special island have been his source of curiosity and
inspiration for more than 35 years.
Ed and JoAnn opened the gallery as a way to share Ed’s
personal favorites in a fine art presentation, not subject
to the high volume printing requirements of their popular
card and calendar line of products. All images are individually
printed by Ed at the gallery. |
